Textiles RFID Anti-Theft System

Overview

RFID tags on high-value devices and expensive garments/textiles prevent theft. RFID readers near store entrances can read these tag's signals. The RFID reader at the exit will alarm if an RFID-tagged item is taken out of the store without being deactivated or removed. The RFID tag that an item attaches to is equipped with a device. The interrupt functionality is utilised by the tag to detect movement automatically. The multi-communication mechanism between a tag and a reader enables real-time theft reporting. The anti-theft system was tested for its location tracking and communication capabilities to determine its efficiency.

Features:

Alarm system: If an item with an RFID tag is taken out of the store without being properly deactivated or removed, the RFID reader at the exit will alarm store workers.

Security cameras: RFID anti-theft systems with security cameras can detect fraudulent activity.

EAS integration: RFID anti-theft systems can be connected with EAS systems for additional security and surveillance.

Anti-theft systems deter thieves: An anti-theft system deters thieves from targeting a item.

Loss prevention: Anti-theft systems prevent thieves or notify authorities to ongoing thefts. Anti-theft technologies reduce theft risk and financial losses for organisations.
